Who you are dealing with

PriceHash is operated by ValidPixel LLC, a Michigan limited liability company (“we”, “us”). Using the service means agreeing to these terms.

What the service is

PriceHash records flight fares and emails you when our score says a price is unusually good for that route. It is information, not advice.

What we do not do

We do not sell flights, take payment for travel, hold or issue tickets, or act as a travel agent. Any booking you make is a contract between you and the seller. Cancellations, changes, refunds and schedule disruption are theirs to handle, not ours.

Accuracy

Fares change constantly and a price we recorded may be gone by the time you click. The Price Hash Score describes history; it is not a prediction, and nothing we send is a guarantee that a price will fall, hold or rise.

The decision to book is yours

Everything we publish or send you — a score, an alert, a price, an explanation, or any wording that a fare is a good time to buy — is a suggestion offered for your own consideration. It is not a recommendation to purchase, not professional, financial or travel advice, and not a solicitation. We are not your agent, broker or adviser, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship arises from your use of the service.

You are solely responsible for evaluating any fare and for the decision to book it, when to book it, and with whom. You should verify the price, the itinerary, the fare conditions, the baggage allowance and every other term directly with the airline or seller before you pay. Prices we quote are the lowest advertised base fare we observed; bags, seat selection and other extras are not included. Any booking you make is made at your own discretion and your own risk, and we accept no responsibility for its outcome — including a fare that falls after you buy, a cheaper option we did not see, or an alert that arrived late or not at all.

Some links in our emails may earn us a referral fee. This never affects your score: the scoring code has no access to commission data, enforced as a boundary in the codebase.

Availability

This is a beta. Alerts may be delayed or missed, and we may change thresholds, pause the service or discontinue it. Free accounts carry no service commitment.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is”, “where is” and “as available”, with all faults and without warranties, representations or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any alert will be sent, delivered or arrive on time, or that any fare, score or explanation is accurate, complete, current or still available. You use the service entirely at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ValidPixel LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost savings, lost travel opportunity, or the difference between a fare you paid and a fare you might have paid. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limits above apply only as far as that jurisdiction permits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Michigan.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Any material change moves the effective date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the service after that date means accepting the revised terms.
